What is TGPR?
TGPR is an unconventional PR services firm based in Silicon Valley. Founded in 2002, the name stems from our belief that PR firms should exist to help clients generate sales tools like news articles, feature stories and case studies. These tangible, measurable PR results can be used by clients’ marketing and sales reps to facilitate new business opportunities. TGPR founder Kevin Wolf formed this belief after experiencing firsthand the still-broken PR services model: as an account executive at two PR firms, clients overpaid for limited results; as an in-house PR manager, Kevin overpaid PR firms for limited results.
What services does TGPR provide?
TGPR offers a broad spectrum of PR and marketing services. Standard services include communications counsel, media relations and press release development. More involved PR programs leverage TGPR for customer and partner communications, analyst relations, case study development, website content and collateral development, social media management and implementation, internal communications planning, corporate and product positioning. In short: we can do as much or as little as you like, all for a very reasonable cost.
How do I know if my company is a good fit for TGPR?
TGPR clients are emerging leaders in the high-tech industry. We tend to focus on early stage hardware and software (both business and consumer) companies, based in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions, that have received some outside funding. We look for companies run by experienced executives and financiers, whose products and business models are potentially disruptive, and that target large and established markets. A list of current and former clients can be found here.
How much is it going to cost me to sign-up with TGPR? Unlike firms that insist on expensive monthly retainers and long-term contracts, TGPR gives clients the flexibility to choose how much they want to spend and for how long, without requiring a guaranteed contract. Clients pay by the hour for TGPR services and simply “crank up or down” the PR services dial as they see fit. Most clients spend about $5K per month for TGPR services, but some pay only a few hundred dollars. The point: It’s your PR program, spend as much or as little as you want.
What is it that makes TGPR special?
Clients benefits from our strong writing capabilities, experience navigating complex communications issues and media relations expertise. The TGPR approach can be summed up as “Eliminating PR excess so clients get maximum return for their PR spend.”
